Thanks to my friend Martin Hall from Peterborough AS for taking the picture.

I was fortunate enough to attend a lecture given by Colin in Peterborough. Colin is a lovely man, always willing to spend time chatting. He even signed a few pictures for me and I bought his new book "Space Is A Funny Place" See picture below which Colin kindly signed for me.

It was a great honor to meet one of the greats of British Space Science.

Beagle 2 may well have been lost on Mars but the technology developed and used in the building of beagle 2 is now being put to a great use in Africa where it is being utilized to test for TB and other diseases.
