NASA WINGS
StarDome's Andrew Green with one of his heroes - Nigel Macknight.
In the early 1980's I was inspired by the writing of Nigel Macknight. Nigel's book's "Shuttle" and "NASA Wings" were truly inspirational as were his articles in his magazine "Space Flight News".
A chance meeting a few months ago whilst working at the same venue has led to a good friendship with Nigel who is rightly proud of his space authoring and acheivements.
As a result of this StarDome has become one of the Corporate Sponsors of Nigel's World Water Speed record bid.
It is a great honor to be involved in this project, which aims to bring home to the UK the "World Water Speed Record" that has been held by Australia for almost 30 years.
