Andy is a very popular speaker and as such works not only in the UK but abroad too. Where possible we will have someone to answer your call or email in the UK but if you do not get a response within a couple of days then the chances are he is already lecturing away. Please bear with us if this happens as he WILL get back to you.

inspection at any time during the visit
We also carry valid equipment insurance
and public liability insurance as necessary by law
StarDome's equipment is regularly checked
by qualified electrical engineers and is "PAT" tested annually.
It is worth noting that StarDome has some clients who book up to 18 months in advance for certain dates. Some have even started to book us 2 years in advance to secure their preferred dates. Feel free to contact us with your preferred choices of dates and we will endeavour to accommodate you.
For UK National Science Week each year we are usually booked up over a year in advance so make sure you get in with your enquiry & booking early to secure any
dates you require
Our newly introduced "unique to us" StarDome check list and our terms and conditions booking form will be sent to you once your booking is confirmed. This way you know it is US you are getting and not someone else!
PAYMENT TERMS
ARE
ON THE DAY OF THE VISIT
NOTE - if you book StarDome and we arrive to find the hall or room is too small, then you will be liable for the full invoice amount
Payment is preferred and appreciated on the day of the visit, where this is not possible you must inform us at the time of booking
YOU MUST ALSO INFORM US IF THE LEA or LOCAL AUTHORITY IS PAYING FOR YOUR VISIT AND SEND US THE CORRECT FORMS TO FILE
Payment is accepted by Cheque, Cash or BACS
We can provide you with our National Insurance Number and Self Employment Number if required at the time of booking
No VAT is payable on a StarDome visit
If any extra shows are required during the day or in the evening then an additional presentation fee will be charged
StarDome does not "usually" require deposits
or any pre-payment
HOWEVER:
In some rare circumstances we have had no alternative but to introduce a "pre - invoicing - pre - payment" policy
!PLEASE NOTE!
Regardless of presentation length
HALF DAY bookings constitute up to 3 shows maximum
FULL DAY bookings are for up to 5-6 shows maximum
e.g. 6 - half hour morning or afternoon shows
DO NOT
constitute a half day booking
Full day rate is payable after 3 shows to a maximum of 6
Number of Shows - Our flexible approach
If you require more than 6 shows in the day please let us know at the time of enquiry/booking and we can discuss it further. We know some schools now have 7 classes and its a shame for one class to miss out on the StarDome experience. We are flexible in our approach in these circumstances. Pricing options will be discussed at the time of booking for extra shows.
A rate discount will be offered for those clients who book the planetarium for 3 or more consecutive days
